Manufacturer Description

Looking to clean up the look of your helicopter, airplane of RC car & protect your servo lines from chaffing? Servo Line Covering is an easy way to protect your servo wires, adding a clean, aesthetic look to your RC machine, and can be installed in a matter of minutes. Choose from our exciting line of varied colors to add a whole new look to your RC machine!

Included In Package:

(1) 1M (3.28 ft.) Servo Line Covering

(1) 9 in. Heat Shrink Wrap

How Do I Install Servo Line Covering?

Simply remove your servo(s) from the receiver, measure the length of covering you will need for your servo wire(s), and open one end of the covering and insert the servo terminal inside. It works best to "inch worm" your servo wire by holding the terminal inside the servo covering, and slowly inching the covering over the terminal, and pushing the terminal forward.

Once your servo wire is covered, cut off an appropriate sized piece of the included heat shrink, and slide it over the covering till it is flush with the servo itself. Heat the shrink wrap with a soldering iron or heat gun to shrink it down around the covering, thus giving you a flush, tight fit over the previously frayed servo covering. Do the same with the end of your servo wire, being careful to leave the terminal bare so it can easily plug into your receiver. Also, be sure to take note of the servo wire polarity if you cover the full wire – this will ensure that you will know what direction to plug your servo terminal into your receiver.
